For myself, I dropped off a resume in person, made a good impression with the Assistant Manager, who set up an interview right away with the Store Manager. Was hired on the spot during my interview with the Store Manager.

It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
The interview was quick and easy. They asked basic sales-related questions and just wanted to make sure you would be pleasant and helpful. No in-depth shoe knowledge is necessary. Not for you if you want to be a laid back sales person.
