I passed the first screening interview and was then asked to give my availability for the second interview. Then I got an email saying that they decided not to move forward with my application as ‘there were other candidates more aligned to our requirements for this position’’. If this was the case, I should not have been invited for a second interview. It seems they have filled the position but do not have to courtesy to say.
