Preliminary interviews are over the phone -- both times that the recruiter made an appointment to talk, he was late by almost an hour. I then had an appointment to speak to the hiring manager, who never called -- it was only later that I found out that she had decided to pass on me as a candidate. Very unprofessional way of doing business.
