Colloquio
Streamlined, efficient application process with short wait times for me.
Online application was first, containing a question about your interests/hobbies as well as motivations for Mazars and your chosen role.
Numerical and verbal reasoning tests were next. Pretty straightforward. You receive feedback after, but you're only scored on a scale of: below average > average > above average, so there's not much granularity and ability to tell how well you did.
Next is a telephone interview, 30 mins long. It contained motivational questions about why Mazars, why audit, why the location you applied to. Then there were a mixture of competency and strength-based questions (google strength-based questions if you don't know them; they're different and require differently structures answers than competency questions). Found out positive outcome within two days of phone interview. Very quick.
It was just a week before I was notified of my assessment centre and was able to book it. The AC itself was a positive experience. Consists of a business 'case study' where you have a short time to assimilate information from an array of sources and summarise it in a report. Pretty straightforward. There was also a numerical retest to make sure you weren't cheating before etc.
Then you have a five-minute presentation followed by a one-hour interview with a partner in your field. These questions were motivational, commercial awareness ('give an example of an issue in the audit industry') and competency questions (examples of constructive feedback, challenging goal you set yourself, a time you were key in a team).
This interview was very, very relaxed compared to the phone interview and basically all other interviews I've undertaken so far. This might be because there was just the partner and no recruiter bs, so it felt more like an informal conversation. Very positive.
Finally was the group exercise. This was pretty straightforward. Can't do anything to prepare topic-wise. Just research general principles on how to act in group exercises that are all over the internet.
I got my offer 30 minutes after the end of the assessment centre and gladly accepted.

Short phone call with a friendly member of the recruitment team! I was then invited to a group stage but did not accept this offer. I found the interview very easy and the team member did very well at putting me at ease

Welcoming, good range of questions that are comprehensive. Had to deliver a presentation and then answer numerous behaviour/skill based questions. Lasted approximately 90 minutes. Previously, had to complete a Virtual Assessment Centre and an Online Interview.
