I would like to encourage you to send us an email to hr@fourthline.com so we can rectify this somehow. And to explain some of our process I can write here that the ML/AI team works on Data Science, ML/AI and production (Cloud, coding) parts and that should at least explain where the multiple disciplines come from in the assignment. We want to assess on which parts you are better equipped to start (and later grow) so we can assign projects to you that you can be successful on from the start. And no internet: why not? You use the internet on a daily basis later anyway. But knowledge tested is something most of the candidates in this process appreciate as far as we know. But do know we don't take your point lightly and will see what we can adjust.
