Took part in the interview process with Fractal. Process is lengthy. Cleared coding round in July 15. Then got two round of technical interviews in August. Cleared both of them. Then one cultural fit round happened with HR. interview experience was good. But the salary and position offered was below standard. With 4 years in IT experience, and a full time MS (research based) from Canada, from a premier university, they offered me Consultant-Grade9 role, which is totally unacceptable. Got much better offer and role in other companies, hence decided not to join them. They weren’t even ready to negotiate the offer as well. Would like to join Fractal, but job role is definitely important.

There is a 15 min call after shortlist. Interviewer is in a hurry so won't have too much time. There is also 2 more round with HR and Management but I did not get selected for those rounds.

The interview process had 1SQL test, 2 technical interviews and an HR round. The SQL test was divided into two parts: MCQ and Queries section in which you have to write queries and run. You can brush up SQL and python for the technical rounds. Study subqueries and window functions.

HR sent me 2 long assessments as first contact. I asked basic follow-up questions about salary, location, and technology. The HR rep responded that my questions would not be answered until I completed the assignments. Horrible first impression
