There were three rounds- 2 techno functional and last one HR (Human capital round)- all of them were VC based.
Techno functional rounds were about various case studies and scenario based questions. Difficulty level was medium. My experience till these two rounds were great as the quality of counter questions and conversation were good.
However, last round with the HR head was quite weird. First of all, the panelist was late by 15min. I was asked about my background and myself. While I was talking, the panelist was taking quick naps in between.
After one to two weeks, I got to know that I got rejected inthe Human capital round.
My only suggestion to the recruitment of Fractal is to have the HR round first and then have the techno functional rounds. This will save valuable time of the candidate as well as business panelists in case of HR reject. Along with that this will also improve candidate's interview experience as HR round becomes irrelevant if the candidate has already been selected by the critical business functions.

Recently gave an interview for Engagement manager position with referral. Had 2 rounds of interview. In both rounds the questions were common:
1) Describe the projects you worked on? - where I explained various cross functional AI projects and Data lake related projects that I lead (how planning was done, to team management, stakeholder management, hands-on expertise to drive conversations/challenge timelines/process, help in coding where required).
2) How will you fill the gap between technical teams and business? - Had called out my niche was technical and business hands-on experience and knowledge. So I will include the team since the workshop/discovery phase of the projects. And bridge the gap myself or bring in experts where I cant.
3) No technical or domain related questions were asked.
Everything else was a conversation.
The feedback given was that I dont have technical knowledge

How will you fill the gap of knowledge between technical teams and business teams
The interview process lasted a week. We walked through previous projects and some company challenges. I accepted the offer and we set a start date. True Nightmare. They delayed my simple visa for months, failed, and abandoned me entirely. After months of collaboration, I received a 30 second phone call from a new HR rep telling me it's cancelled, and I never heard from anyone at Fractal ever again. No concern for human impacts. Forced me to leave the country. BEWARE.
