First, it was through the staffing firm because the position was temp to hire. One I met with them, they set up an interview with HR at the firm. I met with HR for about 20 minutes and then met with a couple of the attorneys from different teams at the firm.

The interview process consisted of a brief phone screening and a more in depth in person interview. The questions asked during the in person interview were very direct and standard. I was interviewed by 3 attorneys and 2 supervising paralegals. The interview took approximately 1 hour.

There was no interview, I was accepted before we had even met. That was a little unnerving, but for this particular position, they were hiring urgently. The day I first went to the office, I was shown my work area and started on on boarding materials.
I interviewed with a supervisor and a human resources coordinator. They described the position to me and what is to be expected. Then they interviewed me with direct questions and I was asked to talk about my past experiences.
