First of all I have to mention that my interviews have been very friendly and welcoming during the interview and I always felt comfortable throughout our talk. BUT on the other site the recruitment process overall was absolutely unprofessional! Prior the interview: Without knowing any conditions (average working time, length contract, overtime,etc...) I got an approximate annual salary offer. NON of my very few questions regarding this offer were answered! Also I was told that I would be a good match for a certain project which made my day at first - turns out: this project was no longer a topic during the interview. The interview: Finally we got to the interview I was looking forward to. As I said the interviewers were very relaxed and I really enjoyed the talk. The only problem was, that I was left with more questions than answers. They never made clear statements regarding a potential offer. We talked about a few upcoming projects which seemed very short dated. At the end they asked me to create a test animation to apply directly for a certain currently running project. I agreed although I didn't get a deadline and clear guidelines. After the interview / animation test: After a while still working on the test next to my daily schedule I gave an status update to the recruiter and also asked for the list of upcoming projects I was supposed to get right after the interview - again I got NO answer. Finally after a while I sent out my finished test animation which became a bit more extensive and took a bit longer than I planned. (I didn't worry that much about the submission date since they didn't give me a deadline and they seemed pretty relaxed about this during the interview.) A few days later I got an reply that the project I was applying for is already wrapping up and the animation was a nice try. (Actually I didn't want to apply only for that single project - what about the other projects you mentioned? never mind!) I really felt misled and confused. If the quality wasn't right or the style not a good fit why wasn't it already mentioned during the interview? At least I had fun animating! To the recruiter(s), please: 1) if you lure artists reply to their questions! 2) speak clearly, don't make vague promises 3) if you ask for an animation test there must be guidelines (deadline, frames,...) and somebody supporting you (at least answer ONE single questions/mail). Also one feedback round would be very appreciated! You demand a lot from your applicants. It would be great to get something in return. Thanks, I hope that helps to improve your hiring process!

If the recruiters are still doing their job properly (NOT ALWAYS)... You`ll be able to get an appointment with them really quickly. If not, you might have to wait few weeks. Interview is pretty standard. It mostly depends on which supervisors you`ll be with. Some of them are really relax and cool others not.. The recruiter or management will also be present. Ignore them since their goal is to sell you the company itself and not a good salary.
