The recruiting process is long and unnecessary. I’ve also said that if you can’t do it in 3 rounds or less then you don’t know what you’re doing. They proved me right. I went through SIX rounds of interviews including a presentation. Met with the recruiter, manager, director, then all of them for the presentation, 2 dept heads and then the CEO.
At every stage I was told the feedback was great. After meeting with the CEO, I was asked to provide references. I thought I had the job in the bag. They didnt’t contact my references.
A few days later I was called with the rejection. The reason was “they went with someone they felt more aligned with”. Generic speak. Was told there was nothing negative.
Tried applying again months later when I saw the role pop up again. Instant rejection. Don’t wast your time, just apply elsewhere.

They asked the same questions in every single interview. It felt like no one shared notes about what was spoken about in previous rounds. I had to keep repeating the same info over and over again. It was the same basic questions, tell me about your experience, how would you approach this situation etc.
I was contacted by a recruiter who scheduled me for an interview with a hiring manager. I made sure to prepare thoroughly and was ready at the scheduled time. Unfortunately, the hiring manager never showed up to the interview. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, I followed up with the recruiter to find out what happened. However, despite multiple attempts to reach out, the recruiter completely ghosted me with no explanation or rescheduled meeting.
This lack of professionalism, both in terms of poor communication and disregard for my time, left a negative impression. If this is representative of how they handle candidates, I would be cautious about pursuing further opportunities with this company. Job seekers deserve respect and clear communication, especially when time has been committed to an interview process.

zoom meeting interview. The hiring manager was late for the interview but did appologize. They did not seem very interested in interviewing me and seemed preoccupied. Many questions about myself, not too much info on the actual hours, pay rate or role.
