This was not a Job Fair interview so this may be a bit different from some of the posts. I applied online about 2 months ago. I was invited to do an online test. It took about 30 minutes and consisted of morality, workability and psychological questions. Best thing I can say is be honest in your replies! Don't think about what you THINK is the right answer. About a month later I got a phone call from Jeff asking if I had about a half hour to talk to him. He was GREAT! The usual questions....... once again BE HONEST! At the end of the call he asked if I would come to Denver for a F2F. ummm YES! LOL. So about 2-3 weeks later I got an email with all the flight and hotel information. YAY! On the flight out of MCO I met 3 other wonderful candidates and we bonded immediately! Our hopes and dreams all being the same. The FA's on our flight were AMAZING! So personable and willing to talk to us about the FA life. It only fueled our excitement! We arrived early the day before the interview and made the most of our time. Reviewing possible questions, practicing our responses.....just getting ready for the big day. The next morning we walked to the Frontier Training Center as it was only a couple of blocks away. As we waiting in the lobby as we were of course EARLY, we had the chance to talk to a couple of FA's. Once again, AMAZING! There ended up being about 12 of us candidates. What happened next was probably the best. I cannot fully put into words how fun, professional and positive each and every one of the team we met was. They all love their jobs, their company and the prospects for the future. The interview process was probably one of the best interview processes I have ever encountered. We first watched a presentation about Frontier and the future of this great airline. Then we were each called out one by one. First we sat with 2 FA's to talk. And that's what it was......we talked. Not grilled, not put on the spot, not felt nervous or uncomfortable at all! Next we sat down with 2 wonderful people from management. Once again, NO PRESSURE! They were so professional and yet at the same time they made the interview FUN! How do they do that? By being the positive professionals that they are. After that we waited in a large break room where there was always 2-3 FA's there with us to talk to, answer questions and just made us feel welcome. While the interviews continued we broke for lunch with they provided and was great! :) They ate with us, talked with us......and once again...... just made us feel welcome. Soon after lunch the remainder of the interviews was concluded. We waited a short period of time, I guess as they got together to review the candidates. Then we were called out in groups of 2 or 3. THIS WAS IT! Until you were called in, you never knew who made it and who didn't. 3 of us walked into a room with tables and chairs, but were told "don't get comfortable, this won't take long"...OUR HEARTS dropped! She said I have one question for you........"Can you be here on August 17th for training?" ELATION! JOY! We were all so emotional even she got a bit teary eyed at our happiness :) After that we were immediately taken to a room to complete paperwork, finger printing and drug testing. HOW COOL IS THAT!! :)
So of course we all said yes! So let me tell you, this was my 3rd interview... yes I was offered a job with another airline and respectfully declined. But of all 3 this was the best! The most professional and fun interview EVER! If you want to get into this position, GO FRONTIER!
