Just come with a smile and well dressed and you're basically hired. There is a preliminary interview which is basically just a meet and greet. Second interview lasts about an hour and they really get into what kind of person you are and what your aspirations are, etc.

Very brief interview that lasted 20 minuted and consisted of asking what i like to do outside of school/working. The only professional based interview they asked is tell me a little bit about yourself.

The hiring process was two separate meetings both at the office. The first took 20 minutes where I met a higher up who questioned my ability to be on a team (if you have ever been in sports tell them). After mentioning one sport in high school and a quick Tigers reference, I got the second interview. For that, they split us up into groups of one or two who then took us to a coffee shop and had a informative chat where they laid out the job and pay. After coffee, everyone met one-on-one with the "CEO" who just wanted to talk about the company. I got an offer that night which I originally accepted. However, after researching the company and finding ties to other direct sale companies in the area, I understood that the fun and energetic office (that we never saw during the interview) was actually an empty room where the team met every morning before they drove themselves around Michigan for door to door sales. The two main problems with the comapny are that during the interview they offer a base salary of $300-$500 a week but later tell you that your salary is entirely commission based. Meaning that base salary really depends on if you can sell Comcast to random businesses (who never know you're coming). They are able to withhold minimum wage because you are not classified as an employee on tax returns but instead a commissioned worker. The second problem was that even if you are doing well in sales, gas is not covered and you only get 10% of your sales to start. What seemed like an amazing opportunity quickly turned into a front for scam marketing. Do your research before accepting this job -the reviews on page 2 and 3 are hard to ignore.
