Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Frontiers nel mese di nov 2022
Colloquio
The process was well explained, and the people interviewing me were very friendly and helpful. They explained a lot about the company and what is kind of expected. Had a short interview with HR person then invited back to be interviewed by 2 people who work directly with the journals and creating them. The process was very slow, I applied first mid November and was offered the job at the start of February. But I was told they would take while due to winter break, so can't fault them on that.

Pros and cons of open access Why are you interested in Frontiers Lots of STAR questions, mostly the usual ones you'd expect.

Colloquio
First round was with HR who asked about my background and why I wanted to work at Frontiers. Second interview was with two Journal Launch managers who asked competency, behavioural and scenario based questions back to back. They also get you to do a roleplaying task which I found to be quite intimidating. I did my preparation but still found it quite intense despite using the STAR method and demonstrating my knowledge and skills of academic publishing.
