I applied online via Indeed. I was contacted about 2 weeks later to set up a zoom screening for the position. It was already a little awkward as my interviewer did not have his camera on and I did. It was too late for me to turn mine off as soon as we started. There was not a ton of information about the position (I'm used to companies providing much more detail) before jumping into asking me questions about my experience and how it could relate to the position. The person interviewing me had only been at the company for a few months so I'm not sure they even had a clue about the details of the position. While I was still interested in the role, I also became a bit more skeptical. I asked about the next steps in their interview process. I was told HR was "very Picky" but I'd hear back "soon". It's been several weeks and I have heard NOTHING. While I get I may not have been what they were looking for a rejection email would have been nice.
