I interviewed for a Functional Consultant role at Fusion5 earlier this year. Even before the interview, I knew my skill set wasn’t a perfect match for the role, but I was keen to meet the team. The interviewers were warm, welcoming, and provided honest, encouraging feedback. I genuinely enjoyed the experience and could see why so many people have stayed with the company long-term or grown through internal promotions.
I was told the initial interview would be a short culture fit interview. This was more of a behavioural/technical interview for 1 hour. This was followed up with an in-depth technical interview.

One on one interview with reporting manager. Manager had not even looked at my CV. Dismissive before we even began and said thought I couldn’t do the job. Offered me a much more junior position at $40k less. Went in to get the desired role at a competitor.
