The interview process was as a normal process with the regular ups and downs expected with any company up until the final interview. The process is a unionized organization that has some locations that are unionized with other that aren't. Just so happened that interviewed for a role that was in a unionized facility and fortunately I have extensive experience with union facilities. I was not offered the role and I later found out that I was not offered the position because the in-house counsel and Sr. Labor Relations rep that interviewed me mis-quoted my responses and stated that I made an antisemite comment in one of my responses which was completely untrue.

Phone screen, interview in the office, lunch and facilities tour. Met with all members of leadership. They were nice but not very professional. They asked a lot of not relevant questions. For example, it seems like I might have previously worked with someone who used to work there and they asked about him a little too much.

I applied online. Talked to a recruiter on the phone, 2 weeks after applying online. Recruiter talked way too much and we had to schedule a second phone call after the 1 hour call. Recruiter talked more than I did, cut me off, didn't allow me to finish my answers. 3 weeks later, talked to hiring manager. 4 weeks later, invited for an onsite visit, that was 3 weeks later. Had to take online skills test that took 2 hours. I asked the Manager why I had to take those tests, she indicated everyone took them, but they weren't used for anything? I felt like they never did an interview before. Unprofessional, chaotic, unfriendly people at the onsite. Onsite interview - 7:45am - 5:00pm. Spent the whole day interviewing. First hour was plant tour. Interviewed with 12 people total, 1 hour interviews with 2 - 3 people involved. Lunch was 30 minutes with the interviewers. Overall, the place was like a dysfunctional family. So glad I didn't get the job, I practically ran out of there at the end. Do you remember sitting around the dinner table as a kid and everyone was talking, arguing and being immature, that was this place. I wasn't impressed, I could tell lots of people were there because they were friends, very low skilled and not very intelligent people. I was really disappointed because I was hoping for a good experience, it was horrible. I actually wanted to just leave at the group lunch. Every interviewer asked me the same questions, based on the script they were provided at the beginning, and they didn't leave time for me to ask questions. Managers were so unprofessional and did not seem intelligent or smart. They acted like a horrible married couple, kept arguing and disagreeing, horrible work environment. So glad I don't work there. Very horrible work environment, the interviewers didn't seem happy to even work there. I escaped that one, yikes, I wouldn't recommend anyone working there. Probably the worst interview I've ever had. Seemed like a cult almost, they all looked the same, no diversity, and all acted the same... cult. Oh, and it took 2 months to get my trip reimbursement check, since I had to pay everything up front for my trip and send them the list of my expenses. Horrible process.
