Contacted by a third party recruiter who told me I would be perfect for the job. She even discussed by resume with the would-be manager...I received the feedback that he was very interested in my background. Next step was a phone interview by an internal GE recruiter. I did not make it past this step.

It was just the run of the mill, standard interview process which first began with a phone screen interview and then it was followed up by an in person interview
