Very quick process. I met the recruiters at a career fair at lunch, in the afternoon I was called to come back to a networking event that same night and told I was going to be interviewed the next morning. I felt valued by GE because they got back to me so fast with an offer after the interview. The entire process took less than one week. The networking events available were very beneficial and informative. I would highly recommend attending one before interviewing if given the opportunity. I continued to go to these events even after I was hired. They provide a way to meet other interns and GE employees in a professional yet friendly setting.
