Colloquio
After the online application process I received an email that night asking to set up a phone interview. They give multiple time slots for your convenience and stated they may call up to 15 minutes due to high frequency of calls. This call lasted 15 minutes basically verifying what you put on your application and your previous work experience. I was invited to come and do an interview which consists of a 45 minute multi-tasking computer test, meeting with HR rep, role play scenario, shadow of employee call center, and meeting with the hiring manager. Multi-tasking test was pretty easy, as long as you follow directions and can type up to 30 WPM. They are looking for how efficient you do, not how fast you go. The meeting with HR went fine she asked multiple situation questions, and previous work experience. If you prepare the night before with questions, you will do fine. She was typing out my answers which made the interview feel a bit impersonal. After this I was asked to do the role play part which consisted of learning about a fake company. You had 20 minute to go over the company and then the rep called on a phone to proceed 3 fake costumer service calls. Try to smile and sound upbeat on the phone-This can help make a better impression even if you are unsure how to answer the calls. I was asked to stay to meet shadow and do an interview with hiring manager but then asked to come back a different day since they were in a meeting. The next day I went in, I shadowed for 2 and half hours! You have some time to ask questions and see what the job is like. Make sure you act interested in what they are doing and engage in convo when you can. They want to see you excited about it. By the end of this I was a bit drained...When I met with the hiring manager he seemed rushed for time. He asked how my previous experiences would benefit the customer service role and some situation questions. Make sure you to really sell yourself and how you could be an benefit for the company. They want to hear that your going to make a career out of your employment there, which was something I did not go in depth about. I knew I did not get the position since he said he would contact me in the next 3 days-found out today via email that I had not been chosen. From all the reviews I've read on here people who have gotten the position, were offered that same day.
-Tip that I received from the HR rep was not to wear any facial piercings (since I had my nose stud in) and not to go over board in over elongating your answers to the hiring manager.

How have your previous employment positions prepared you for a position such as this?

There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

It was a weird process, first it was on zoom and my interviewer told me to turn off my camera because of the bandwidth issues. Then she asked three questions and provided me the job description and the hours. She then asked me if I was looking for other work and If I was currently working. I did tell her that I am currently working and she told me that I have enough time to provide my current job a two weeks notice. After the interview she told me that she was going to endorse my application for review. Then she sent me another email saying that “Your recruiter will be in touch with you for next steps”. Then in the middle of night not even 24 hrs, I get a generic email saying that I was passed on. I wanted to find out why did I get an email saying that a recruiter was going to contact me, then I passed on from someone else. This was a customer service position and during the interview she told me that I have a lot of experience. I just didn’t like during that interview I was given false hope. I would not recommend applying to this company.
