This entire experience was full of red flags. I had an initial video interview with the recruiter for which I received an email after the interview already started asking to reschedule with no explanation. Less than ideal, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because things happen. Rescheduled for two days later, and the recruiter is five minutes late with no explanation or apology. Recruiter calls are also generally audio only, so when I received a google meet invite I clarified whether it was audio or video and was told it would be cameras on. Turns out that meant just for me as I awkwardly stared at an avatar for 30 minutes. Hardly any questions about my experience beyond an initial tell me about yourself were asked. I was told I would hear back that same day as they were meeting with the hiring manager later. Heard nothing, followed up a couple days later, no response. A week later received a generic templated rejection. Hugely disrespectful of my time from start to finish.
