Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Gap (New York, NY) nel mese di feb 2012
Colloquio
I applied online to various Gap and Old Navy stores. About 2 weeks later I received a call back from the Gap asking if I were still interested in the position. After stating I was, she conducted a brief phone interview that consisted of fairly basic questions, such as why you want to work here, what were somethings you disliked about your current or prior jobs, etc. Subsequently, she scheduled me for a group interview for the coming Tuesday. Upon arriving, I was told by the hiring manager we were waiting for two other candidates who surprisingly did not show so it turned into a one on one interview. She asked some of the same questions as the person during the phone interview but wanted to know more about my work ethnic and ways I kept up with fashion. Gap is very big on customer service and being able to go out your way to seek customers as well as wanting someone who plans to grow with the company so try and incorporate this during your interview. Afterwards, she scheduled me the next day with the general manager. He was really nice and it was pretty informal. He asked More about my past work experience and what customer service means to me. He also went more in depth about the company and the expectations they have for their employees as well as pay and hours. He then told me that if I pass the background check then I would be hired and will continue from there when it's complete

It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
