The interview process was pretty good, I was contacted by a Recruiter/HR for a quick phone screening, then was quickly invited to a technical interview. The technical interview was fair question-wise but unfair on the relation to the position I was applying for. I was applying for a front end web development position (very obvious in the job description I had applied for). The interviewer they had scheduled me for was sick, and instead of rescheduling the interview I was put with someone who was expecting me to write my interview in C, which I was not prepared nor experienced enough to succeed.
Phone screen was a common tell me about yourself and why Garmin. They didn't ask any follow ups on your answered and seemed to just run through the list of the questions they had.

I had 1hr behavioral Interview and 1hr technical interview. Behavioral interview was about how I got to know the company, why should the company hire me, and what kind of research experience I had.

Process took about a month. Recruiter was slow getting back to me but interview process was alright. The interviewers were friendly and mainly focused on problem solving and how you think through your code.
