Got this position as the skills very exact match and thus they didn't need to offer further training.
I had a telephone interview and was focused on the previous job experience and what skills I have. Can I do the project on a 3-month timeline? The interview was conversational and went into details of my lab experiences.
For this short time frame did not have an HR interview but full-time/part-time positions typically have an HR interview first.

For the interview process, I had back to back interviews with multiple people, and they lasted about 30 min each. All the interviewers were very nice and informative. Each interview was quite conversational.
