The interview process starts out with a relatively informal phone interview, you're asked about your background (general resume walkthrough) and given a deeper understanding of the position you've applied for. They answer any questions you may have. The second interview goes much more in-depth. You talk to at least four separate people, sometimes up to six if you have any interest in inclusion programs offered by the company. They ask you mainly behavioral questions, and if you're lucky, they'll help guide you if you don't quite give them the kind of answer they're looking for. They won't give you the answers, but they'll ask more clarifying questions to help you out. Personally, I've always been petrified in interviews, it's always scary to walk into a room, or in the case of COVID, sit across another laptop screen, and have to answer questions you may or may not be prepared for. But every interview that I've experienced at General Mills has made me feel relaxed and relatively stress-free.

Long. Overall a two month process. Over these two months, I had 3 online interviews as well as an in person visit. A week after the in person visit, they updated my application status to “not selected”. I was never contacted.
