Sure! One that really stands out was during my data engineering training at Generation UK. We were tasked with building an enterprise application to track orders and manage inventory. I took the lead on developing and optimizing the ETL pipeline, which was running slower than expected. I spent extra time researching best practices, restructured the pipeline, and managed to reduce the data processing time by around 42%. It was a great feeling seeing that improvement and knowing I’d helped the team work more efficiently.
At the same time, I was also learning cloud infrastructure automation using GitHub Actions and Terraform. I really pushed myself to master these tools and ended up reducing deployment time by over 50%. It was one of those moments where all the effort paid off.
