I received a response for the job in a week after applying. I had the opportunity to meet the Director in person briefly before my interview and had a pleasant conversation.
The interview was an hour long. It was a very relaxed interview and the person conducting the interview was conversational. I was asked about my view on the state of the chemistry departments and what I feel is impacting the growth of the field from a scientific and personnel perspective.

Received email to set up interview. sent them my schedule. Standard, Human Resources behavioral interview interview. was over the phone. 30 minutes. Lots of repetition from the application. Overall it was easy.
