I was initially contacted by a third-party recruiter, where I passed the initial screening. I then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Eventually, this
led to meeting with the hiring manager and taking a 3-hr long written test. The test was an assessment on your knowledge of math, science, electronics, physics, reading blueprints, and ladder logic. After passing the test, I then had a virtual panel interview with the hiring manager and the senior Field Service Engineers in the area. The senior FSEs didn't come off as being optimistic during the interview. Although the panel interview went well, and wanted to schedule a final interview, I had decided not to pursue any further . The hiring manager was nice, but I didn't feel like I would have been happy there.
