I should have read the Glassdoor reviews before I applied because my experience sadly seems normal. Had a recruiter screen and that actually was fine and the recruiter was helpful and gave lots of information. But then after that went through rounds of interviews, asked to do an assignment on their product (not a made up scenario or anything) and sent the assignment in without a chance to present it. Then just rejected with no feedback. Was also promised $200 donation to a charity or nonprofit and that never came (I even asked the nonprofit whether they received it) Glad I didn't even up working there, seemed like I dodged a bullet.

Tell me about a time... those basic behavioral questions.
We are always trying to improve our process at Givelify, and your feedback is appreciated.
We noticed your review on Glassdoor and wanted to clarify that we regularly mailed a donation to Core City CrossFit Kids, the nonprofit side of Core City Fitness, located in Detroit, MI 48208. $200 in Honor of your name, candidate with Givelify.
So sorry that they informed you that we did not donate; alas, we indeed donated; we just had to mail it in instead of paying online.

I was re-engaged for this role after previously interviewing with the company. The initial conversations were positive and gave the impression that the team was serious about moving forward. A compensation range was discussed early in the process, which set clear expectations.
However, when the formal offer was presented by the company, the salary was significantly lower than what had originally been communicated. Additionally, key structural details were disclosed only at the very last minute- information that should have been clarified upfront.
The process then involved repeated back-and-forth communication and delays, which created unnecessary uncertainty.
Overall, the experience lacked transparency, consistency, and accountability. Candidates should not have to navigate shifting expectations and last-minute disclosures after investing significant time in an interview process. It was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing interview experiences I’ve had.

The interview process was standard. It started with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager interview focused on past experiences and behavioral questions. Then I completed a take-home assignment related to the role - I spent quite a bit of time on it, but I appreciated that Givelify compensates candidates if their solution is used, which felt very fair. After that, I met with the leadership panel and then the executive leadership team before receiving an offer.
Overall, the process took about a month. My recruiter, was incredibly supportive, she even jumped on weekend calls to help answer questions. The experience felt transparent, human, and well-organized.
HR round followed by hiring manager and then a panel interview. You will also need to complete a case study. HR asked the questions they got from the hiring manager. HR department will waste your time scheduling interviews and then rejecting you before the interview.
