First, the recruiter called me without scheduling a phone screening in advance. Then I went through multiple stages, including a portfolio presentation to the design team, a challenging and time consuming take home assignment, and an in person presentation of that assignment. Afterward, I was told I would receive an update within one to two weeks. I followed up, but never received a response. After completing four stages of interviews and investing significant time and effort, including taking time off to attend in person, I believe it is reasonable to expect at least a courtesy email informing me of the outcome.

Unplanned recruiter call - HR manager interview (be expected to show one project) - Take home assignment. Do NOT do their take home assignment. It's long, unpaid, and you will NOT get any feedback like not even a yes/no and be ghosted. (i think that goes the same for all roles that ask for an assignment)
