Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto 3 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Global Shop Solutions (Houston, TX) nel mese di gen 2019
Colloquio
I was in a room of 6 interviewers all asking behavioral questions. All pretty standard questions about my experience. The technical interview was quite different. I was given 3 tests that were all fairly different.

Domanda 1
I was given 3 tests. One was a logic test true or false style. The second was to give step by step instructions on how to tie a shoelace. The last was to psuedo code a system that pulled data from a database and files.

Colloquio
I initially got an email to call them and schedule an interview. When I called them, it felt like they were reading off a list of appointments and asked me which one I could come in for—icy reception.
I showed up 20 minutes early. The interviewer was on time. I was taken to a room with two other people where they introduced themselves and got started.
The interview ended with an office tour and technical assessment.
1. Instructions to tie a shoelace
2. Widget Evaluation: design a screen for users to enter measurements for a product then write the pseudocode of the program to calculate the price of the user input and send the discounted receipt to another file. (needs to handle exceptions)
I was told they would contact me in 2 weeks, but they did not respond to my thank you email and neither to my follow-up email.
Very unprofessional and seemed like they were doing me a favor with the interview.

Do you know about COBOL?
Questions about resume, favorite project, what did you learn, etc.
What are you working on right now that is not technical related?
