Colloquio
The interview process is quite a lengthly process, with five stages with different stakeholders. There were big delays between each stage (I was possibly one of the first to interview) which is unrealistic if you are interviewing with other companies and have a full time job. I think the process took almost 6 weeks in my case. I was really impressed with my talent partner in the beginning. She gave me a good feeling about the company and kept me informed of how the process was moving along. My talent partner changed about half way through the interview, which seemed to coincide with falling out of favour for the role. I was left in the dark for two weeks after the final interview without a follow-up to ask how everything went. I of course knew that I had not been successful based on the lack of communication but I had to push the talent partner for a response in the end. That unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth. When hiring for an associate role like this, there are presumably not more than three or four candidates that make it to the end and it really is common courtesy to follow up with everyone involved. Based on that, I would not apply for a role at GoCardless again.

Stages
1. Recruiter
2. 2 Team member
3. Present a case to the team (Hiring manager and another team member)
4. Meeting the execute stakeholder
First and the second are very straightforward, all about learning if your previous experiences fit the role and some behaviour questions. I believe you normally meet the hiring manager in this stage, but the hiring manager was off during the time.
Third stage it was required to do a role play presentation or any way to guild the client to use the Gocardless Dashboard. The dashboard is easy but I didn't pass the stage somehow. The feedback I got is my presentation is too technical and not specific enough to the Target audience. It was a bit shock to receive the feedback as I am not from technical background, so I wouldn't be able to go to deep honestly. On top of that in the presentation I constantly asked if they have any questions that need me to go through. If you think I missed any part, you could have mentioned in the interview. Doesn't feel solid enough for me to got rejected, so I think I am just not a good fit to the team.
No hard feeling though, as everyone I met during the interview is very respectful and professional.
The salary range for the position is 40-50k pounds with bonus (2024) which I think it's a bit lower than the market rate.
