GoStudent reached out about a PR & Communications Manager opportunity. We had an exploratory chat and it was great to hear more about the organization, its mission, short-term road map and long-term vision. It sounds like the company is poised for significant growth internationally, especially in the Americas market. As someone who is a member of a number of historically disadvantaged communities, safety and belonging are critical to how I show up and experience the workplace. When asked what tangible actions and investments were made to deepen the organization’s commitment to DEI, I was disappointed by the response. The lack of salary transparency was also discouraging. I declined the opportunity to move forward in the interview process.
