The Goodwill hires for 10 to 15 hours per week to start. They change your schedule every week so completely it makes it impossible to work a second job. This is why ALL their employees are on some sort of state assistance. In the break room they have information on how to apply for all kinds of assistance, paid for by the tax payers. This is ridiculous since it is owned by Goldman Sachs. If you doubt this I would be happy to forward you my retirement benefits paperwork to prove it.

The interviews are extremely simple and shallow, since most of the time the position has already actually been filled by a friend or relative who has not yet signed the W_2.
It was very quick and easy. It was on site and very low pressure. They made it feel very comfortable. The interview lady was very nice. I ultimately turned down the job, but I did remember the process and how pleasant it was.

simple, barely any questions. they didn’t ask much, first time worker and they still hired me sooo but that was 2021. It wasn’t awful but not very structured. could’ve been worse

Called me on the phone and set an in-person interview. Asked a few questions in their office, with just one manager. Interview probably lasted 30 minutes, with basic questions about my cashiering experience, why I was looking for a job, etc.
