1) Applied online
2) Screening interview with hiring manager via Google Hangout
3) Technical quiz covering CS, math, stats, ML via Google Hangout. Questions were about intro-level undergrad class material
4) Team matching interviews
The interview involved a 2 hour quiz covering topics from Math/CS to statistics. Afterwards, you have team matching interviews with one or more teams, as well as a culture interview with HR.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 6 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Google DeepMind (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di gen 2019

Very pleasant, but quite drawn out, i.e. a total of 7 interviews.
First one was a quiz. Requires preparation, but then not too difficult and actually quite fun.
Then several 30min interviews with researchers.
Lastly one interview with HR.

Basic math, stats and cs questions. They provide you with a list of materials to look into, which I'd strongly suggest you do. If you do, the interview won't be a problem.
