I applied via DeepMind's website with a one-page resume and a one-page cover letter (Saturday).
Three days after submitting my application (Tuesday) I received an email from a recruiter providing relevant details, followed by two interviews with a talent specialist and the hiring manager on Friday of the same week.
I received an update on the outcome (rejection) of both interviews on Monday (9 days after my initial submission).
The interview process was incredibly efficient and well structured.

There will be one coding round and one ML round, and each round will last one hour. The ML round mainly consists of oral questions about core machine learning concepts.

The interview process was quite smooth. I had two research and two coding interviews. Research interviewers asked what I would like to do at GDM if I join. One of the research interviews was quite confrontational, but respectful. All the interviewers were kind.
