You are contacted by a member of our third party staffing agency who gives you a pre-interview. The first time I applied it was a simple process asking me why I would be a good candidate, my short-term plan, going over some specifics about the job, etc. That led to 2 phone interviews along with a face-to-face, and I was not selected. The next time I interviewed the agent was very unprepared, unprofessional, and informal. She didn't know my current job title or where I was located. And instead of the pre-interview questions she went into full blown interview mode. Needless to say I didn't even get a real interview after that.
