The initial phone call screening was very chill and more informational. The person I talked to wasn't very energetic and, overall, didn't seem experienced in doing these types of calls. The more formal interview was long and more intense, as the interviewer made no effort to help the interviewee feel comfortable or relaxed. There were a lot of situational questions in seeing how you would respond to situations. If you don't align 100% with what Green Corps would've done, they tell you that and "play devils advocate" with you, which was very weird. They also got annoyed when I would try to ask follow-up questions for more information to better inform my answer, saying, "I was looking too deeply into it now." I've had a lot of interviews over my career as an undergraduate for internships, part-time jobs, and the like, and this was by far the most turned off by a job I have ever felt after an interview. Their pay isn't, and the hours worked aren't helping them either.

After your initial application you will have a phone interview followed by a questionnaire. After this you will be invited to a group 3 hour long interview session, prior to which you will collect petition signatures. Following this interview you will have a final phone call where you receive the offer.
