      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Griffis/Blessing nel mese di mar 2021

      Colloquio

My first interview was a short 30-minute Zoom interview with one of the members of top leadership. Very sweet woman and great conversation, I believe her name was Liz. She seemed to really like me and take an interest in my background. The second interview was with one of the commercial portfolio managers (the person I would have been assistant to). Although I was super excited, positive, and prepared for this interview, this woman was quite flustered and rude and didn't even ask me any questions... (Never experienced this in an interview). She instead just rambled on about how fast-paced this job is and how hectic it is. I am extremely used to fast-paced work and it's no problem for me working in a higher pressure environment, but no matter how much I tried to positively assure her of my skills and abilities, she wasn't really listening to anything I had to say. I also feel like her lack of questions made it so that I didn't have a chance to adequately explain my background and character and how I could add value to Griffis Blessing. I've never experienced an interview with someone who doesn't really ask any direct questions... Anyways, after that interview, she ghosted me and so did the entire organization. They never even let me know that I was not selected for the position... never said anything to me. ALSO - Although I felt like I didn't really get a chance to even speak about myself in the interview - I did manage to mention that I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to positively affect the Griffis Blessing online reviews on Google, and increase positive company reputation (while trying really hard not to directly mention how terrible their company reviews are). This woman's response was to tell me that the 85 bad reviews online were just because of bad tenants and bad people who had issues that weren't the company's fault, and proceeded to tell me that they had no intention of fixing any bad reputation or actually solving any of the issues that any of the tenants had been concerned about in their plethora of negative reviews. She said this was because none of those bad reviews was their fault. I ended the interview on a positive note and tried to bring the conversation back onto positive subjects throughout the conversation. Also, I was asked about 4 times whether or not I could pass a drug test. I can easily pass a drug test, but I would have hoped that they were more interested in my skills, abilities, personality, relevant work experience, etc. Honestly, all of this entire experience was very distasteful, and in the end, I am fortunate that I was ghosted because this is absolutely not the company culture I would want to help foster in an organization.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

She didn't really ask me any direct questions other than "can you handle fast-paced work"...
