There was an initial recruiter phone call which is standard, but it was followed by a 1 hour phone interview with the senior director. I already thought that was strange, but as soon as the senior director answered the phone, I could tell I wasn’t getting an offer. She answered like she didn’t want to be taking the call, did not even tell me one thing about herself or the role, barely answered my questions, and rushed me off after 15 minutes. As stated, this phone call was meant to be an hour, but it was clear a decision had been made before even getting a chance to speak. A couple hours later I received the rejection email. I really wish companies would start being more courteous and stop wasting our time.
