Sent in a generic cover letter and cv - had a telephone interview within 5 days and an in person interview coming up shortly. The company looks like it's divided up the task process differently to competitors AlphaSights (research analysts have little client exposure while the equivalent at AS do).
I thought the initial call went well and then they never contacted me again. Very unprofessional of them in my opinion, at least reject me rather than ghosting me. It sounded like a cool job too.

Brief Phone Call/easy behavioral questions. Then an in-person interview in New York with 6 different people. All very Friendly people who weren't there to make you nervous. they all asked variations of the same questions
