Talked to the HR person from HK office for a phone interview after submitting my CV. She was asking questions about my career plan and how I fit into the role. Then she stressed that I would be asked to work overtime often and work under pressure for the best results. She asked if I’d be ready for such a challenge. I don’t think she sold the position well to be honest. Then she said the next process would be the manager finalizing the best candidate and moving on to 2-4:1 interview where I would be required to sit in an interview face to face. But she never got back to me for a whole month so I thought they were not considering. Then she emailed me asking if I am still available for the position as they were still “considering and reviewing” my application. Very unprofessional-just reject the application if you have already selected someone else. Why bother to ignore my emails for a whole month and then suddenly say they are still considering? Another week or two have passed but still haven’t heard back. Definitely not worth your time and I hope you know before going into the process that they are not going to act professionally or responsibly. I have read so many negative comments about guidepoint but still went for it and it was a bad mistake.
