I sent an email out with resume and heard back within a few days. I wound up scheduling an interview with one of the HR reps who was nice but you could tell she was nervous. She asked one question (basic question) and then continued on about what to expect at the role. She said I was a good fit but their Team Lead was out and she would schedule a meeting for when he comes back to the office. She also explained the mock project that I would have 24 hours on.
Now at this point I've read all the reviews and interviews on Glassdoor - nothing to glorious about this job but it's experience and maybe everybody was just disgruntled. After the phone interview I was convinced I'd at least hear back from them unlike some of the interviews I've read on here where they never reached out ever. I wanted to think that they were professional and courteous. I was wrong. I emailed after the interview saying thanks and that I was looking forward to hearing from them (whether good or bad) - no response. Called and left a voicemail - no response. Emailed again - no response.

Why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?
I thought the initial call went well and then they never contacted me again. Very unprofessional of them in my opinion, at least reject me rather than ghosting me. It sounded like a cool job too.

Applied by LinkedIn and received the call from the recruiter in a few days. Then a recruiter asked me a simple question like where do I live, and when is the best time for in-person interview.
