Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto 6 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Guitar Center (Los Angeles, CA) nel mese di mar 2012
Colloquio
Sat down with the Manager, discussed my motivation/qualifications for the position. Guitar Center requires you to complete the initial preliminary quiz and personality profile online, so once you sit down with management they already know your technical skill set and personality quirks.
I got my interview by walking into a guitar center, and waiting to speak to the manager. He wasn't available, so I waited about 3 hours, didn't move. I had already applied online and filled out all the paperwork, and I had researched the position I wanted. He invited me to come back in the next day and interview.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Are you intimidated to jump into the shark tank? (because, at least back then, the sales floor was a writhing shark pit of rabid sales GUYS who would beat each other up, have shouting matches on the floor and snag gear out of the warehouse in order to win the sale.

Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.

Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed

Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
