      Colloquio per Sales Lead/Key Holder

      16 set 2017
      Dipendente anonimo
      Pittsburgh, PA
      Offerta accettata
      Esperienza positiva
      Colloquio difficile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Guitar Center (Pittsburgh, PA) nel mese di ott 2015

      Colloquio

After a high performance in sales for 2 years, I was offered a promotion. I had worked for GC from 2005-2008, then rehired in 2013. I love my job. I feel that positive energy is key to achieving success in any career. I have a BA in Business Management and Marketing, but it was not a requirement to be qualified for the position. I did gain insight from my degree in my job title, and my job title aided my understanding of business while working at GC. They both benefited each other. Guitar Center is a company that promotes from within and builds its employees up. I recieved an offer letter which I then signed. After the offer was accepted, I then submitted an acceptance letter. Shortly after being promoted I had a conversation with my District Manager which was very supportive and motivating. Having the right leaders in your life is key to happiness at Guitar Center. Good leaders push you to become the best version of yourself.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If this promotion were given to someone else besides you, who do you think would deserve it most? Do you want to continue to rise at Guitar Center? Do you understanding that a credit check will conducted before an offer can be solidified? Do you see yourself as a leader? How would you handle an employee on your crew if you caught them commiting an act against Guitar Center policy? Would your actions change if it were a long-time employee? Would your actions change if it were an employee you consider a close friend? Lastly, do you think a second chance should be granted to an employee who stole company merchandise? Is there any act against Guitar Center policy that you would consider in giving a second chance to the offending employee? What are the five major metrics that Guitar Center sees as the absolute most important? What are the Guitar Center "Core Values"? Are any of this values a potential conflict to your personal goals or ethical standing? Please offer an example of an non-ethical scenario and what you understand Guitar Centers code of ethics to be. Do you see yourself running your own Guitar Center store in the future? If offered this position, would you be willing to build and grow your store? What three things have you learned while working with your team this year? What three things do you want to become superior at in your new position?
