Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Guitar Center (Knoxville, TN) nel mese di set 2012
Colloquio
I applied online, there were the typical questions as well as ones related to knowledge of gear but apparently that is not enough to get a job there. After applying there for almost 2 years and following up with applications 2-3 times I finally landed an interview. The interview was pretty normal he asked me a few questions, inquired about employment history. I don't guess I got the job, I followed up twice after my interview and was told each time that he still hasn't come to a decision, well it's been a week now and he told me has going to come to decision 5 days after so I am assuming I didn't get the position. They appear to be looking for people with straight up sales experience over knowledge of the gear, I even got that vibe whilst in the interview, despite being a paying customer and haven't outstanding knowledge of all the gear in most the departments at the store.

Well thought out interview pretty easy, I thought it went well but didn't get offered a position. I still feel like they are a good company although I heard they changed there commission structure in the past few years.

Simple and to the point. They want to know if you fit into the company culture. They also want to know what your skill set is as far as musical ability. It is very easygoing and relaxed

Felt like I was being interrogated or discriminated against, as if this were an important career. Dude, you hire high school students. Give me a break. Avoid applying to guitar center.
