Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso HCLTech (Nashville, TN) nel mese di feb 2015
Colloquio
They were hiring multiple people for the position. It was a mass interview event, lots of candidates (used in & out like cattle). Most of the interviews flew in from out of state & some were from affiliated company's not HCL. I Spoke with 2 different people for about 15 minutes each. It appeared that if the first person you talked to thought you did well you were passed onto the next. My interview was at the end of the day and I was not able to speak to a 3rd person from HCL to get any questions answered, about the position as they had all left to go to the airport.
The interview process was simple and beginner friendly. Most of the questions were basic Java concepts, discussion about projects done in college, and a simple coding question. The interviewers were friendly and focused more on understanding problem-solving approach and communication skills rather than asking very difficult technical questions.

Domanda 1
One of the main things they asked was about OOPs concepts in Java, such as inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation. They also asked to explain these concepts with simple real-time examples. Apart from that, there were questions about college projects and one basic coding problem.
The interview process at HCLTech usually depends on the role (fresher vs experienced, developer vs support vs consulting), but the overall structure is fairly consistent.
Typical flow:
Online assessment / aptitude test
Technical interview
HR interview
Sometimes managerial or communication round
For freshers, there may also be:
group discussion (GD)
coding round
Versant/communication assessment
