Liaised with me via WhatsApp which was fine. Had initial interview with direct report for role. Was then contacted via WhatsApp asking if I was still interested in the role. Answered that I was. Then, was told a week later that there was a delay and was apologised to. The WhatsApp contact then removed their avatar / profile photo and I was sent a rejection email a few weeks after this.
