Met with two people. The tone of the interview was derogatory and negative from the start. The hiring manager didn't just want to review my background, but picked it apart and questioned it as though it simply wasn't good enough for the position. It really made me wonder why I was invited for the interview in the first place, if this individual didn't feel I was qualified. I also wondered if the manager had made a decision before even meeting me. I left, disappointed and uncomfortable. I can only deduce that this behavior is reflective of larger, deeper dysfunction or misbehavior. The company is large and I'm sure there are great departments, but this particular one did not seem like a friendly culture. Further, I was met with obvious scowls and glares when I entered the building. Another red flag.
