I was initially impressed with the transparency and responsiveness of the recruiter who reached out to me. After our first call, I interviewed with the Head of Sales about a week later. The interview ran over the scheduled time, and the conversation felt productive and positive. I was told to expect follow-up within the next week to schedule a third interview.
However, weeks have now passed without any communication. I followed up via email, which I can see has been opened, but it remains unanswered. If you’ve decided to move forward with another applicant, I completely understand, but the lack of communication is disappointing and unprofessional. A simple update would have gone a long way.
