I applied online. The overall interview process felt very unprofessional, starting from the initial HR contact all the way to the hiring manager interview, although a few analysts I spoke with were polite and respectful.
During the hiring manager round, there was no opportunity for a self-introduction or any personal conversation — they immediately jumped into questioning. Worse, the hiring manager was eating at the beginning of the interview, which felt highly disrespectful and unprofessional.
The entire focus was on aggressively verifying my background. For every skill I mentioned, they demanded an immediate, detailed example, often without giving reasonable time to respond.
For instance, when I said I was comfortable using SQL window functions, they asked for a work example. I took about 5 seconds to think through my experience, and during that very short pause, one of them said, "It seems you don't use SQL a lot if you have to think that long," which was extremely unprofessional and dismissive.
Overall, the interview felt more like an interrogation than a two-way conversation. It left me with a very negative impression of the company's culture and how they treat candidates.
